For non-stop power, hardwire to your compatible existing doorbell wiring or opt for the Plug-In Adapter bundle to connect to a standard electrical socket.
Once installed, Video Doorbell Wired will not sound your existing doorbell chime. For audio notifications around your home, pair with a Ring Chime, a compatible Alexa-enabled device, or choose a Video Doorbell and Chime bundle.

You can hardwire your doorbell if you have a compatible doorbell system (8-24 VAC, 10-40VA, 50/60Hz ), or you can use Ring DIN Rail Transformer 2nd Gen (24VDC, 0.42A , 10.0W) sold separately. Doorbell chime must be bypassed.
Plug-In Adapter.
Use Plug-In adapter (2nd Gen) sold separately (24VDC. 0.5A, 12W). Plug-In Adapter features a 6m cable and comes with cable clips. Plugs into standard indoor electrical socket.
Use only Ring DC supplies. Use of 3rd-party DC supplies will result in damage to device.
